Build Apps with Human State Interface (HSI)
Today, we’re introducing the Synheart Platform — a platform where teams can create applications that work with Human State Interfaces (HSI).
Synheart is not a single app.
It’s a system for building apps that understand human state — securely, locally, and with consent.
Build on the Platform
The Synheart Platform allows developers, researchers, and organizations to create and manage applications that work with human state data.
On the platform, you can:
- Create an app
- Define what human state signals your app needs
- Manage user consent and permissions
- Visualize human state over time
- Control how data flows from device to cloud
The platform handles identity, consent, ingestion, and visualization — so teams can focus on building experiences.
Collect HSI Data with Synheart Core
Applications built on the platform use Synheart Core to collect Human State Interface data from users.
Synheart Core is the local, on-device layer that:
- Connects to sensors, wearables, and behavioral inputs
- Processes raw data locally
- Transforms signals into structured human state representations
- Enforces consent before any data leaves the device
This means raw human data stays local by default.
Only approved, meaningful signals are shared with the cloud.
Local-First, Consent-Based by Default
Human data is deeply personal. That’s why Synheart is built local-first.
With Synheart:
- Processing happens on-device whenever possible
- Cloud ingestion is explicit and permissioned
- Users remain in control of what is shared
- Applications receive structured state, not raw exhaust
This design makes it possible to build adaptive systems without sacrificing trust.
How the Architecture Works
At a high level, the Synheart Platform is designed around three clear layers:
User Device → Synheart Core → Synheart Platform (Cloud)
Each layer has a specific responsibility.
1. User Device (Local)
Human state data originates on the user’s device — from sensors, wearables, or interaction patterns.
This may include:
- Physiological signals (e.g. sleep, HRV)
- Behavioral signals (e.g. interaction or activity patterns)
- Contextual signals (e.g. time, session, workload)
No raw data is sent automatically.
2. Synheart Core (On-Device)
Synheart Core runs locally within your application or SDK.
Its role is to:
- Collect signals from approved sources
- Process raw inputs locally
- Convert them into structured Human State Interface (HSI) signals
- Apply user consent and permissions
- Decide what can be shared and what stays local
This layer ensures that human data is interpreted into state before it ever leaves the device.
3. Synheart Platform (Cloud)
The Synheart Platform receives only the data that users have explicitly approved.
The platform provides:
- Secure ingestion endpoints
- App-level data separation
- Visualization of human state over time
- Tools for analysis and system-level decisions
Raw sensor data never needs to leave the device.
The cloud works with state, not exhaust.
What You Can Build
Using the Synheart Platform and Core together, teams can build:
- Human-centric apps that adapt to context
- Research tools for studying human state over time
- Interfaces that respond to focus, recovery, or load
- Systems that respect privacy by design
Synheart provides the infrastructure — not the interpretation.
Infrastructure, Not Assumptions
Synheart does not claim to define emotions, mental health states, or diagnoses.
We provide:
- Secure infrastructure
- Standardized HSI representations
- Tools for visualization and reasoning
How those signals are interpreted is left to builders, researchers, and organizations — grounded in science and ethics.
Early Access
We’re pre-launching the Synheart Platform with a limited group as we continue to refine the ecosystem.
If you want to:
